Welcome to Stockton & Thornaby Canoe Club's website

We are a friendly volunteer run club covering all aspects of canoeing and kayaking. Based at the White Water Centre at the Tees Barrage, Stockton on Tees we are within easy reach of many classic rivers (Tyne, Tweed and Tees), the Lake District and the local surf can be pretty good.

We have members participating in slalom, freestyle and polo as well as a large section of paddlers involved in the less competitive side of the sport with organised river trips, weekends away, canoe camping and other social events. The club has a number of volunteer British Canoe Union coaches (many of which learnt to paddle in the club) who can help those new to the sport to develop their skills.
